महर्षि दयानंद सरस्वती जयंती के अवसर पर विशेषज्ञ व्याख्यान का आयोजन

NaradSandesh।।फरीदाबाद, 5 मार्च - जे.सी. बोस विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी विश्वविद्यालय, वाईएमसीए फरीदाबाद के संचार एवं मीडिया तकनीकी विभाग ने 5 मार्च 2024 को महर्षि दयानंद सरस्वती जयंती के अवसर पर मीडिया छात्रों के लिए "छात्रों के लिए समग्र विकास को समझना" विषय पर विशेषज्ञ व्याख्यान का आयोजन किया। व्याख्यान के लिए संसाधन व्यक्ति डॉ. प्रवीण कुमार, सहायक प्राध्यापक, प्रबंधन अध्ययन विभाग से थे। व्याख्यान की शुरुआत विभाग के अध्यक्ष डॉ. पवन सिंह के स्वागत भाषण से हुई।

इस सत्र के दौरान, डॉ. कुमार ने कहा कि समग्र विकास का तात्पर्य अनिवार्य रूप से छात्रों में बौद्धिक, मानसिक, शारीरिक, भावनात्मक और सामाजिक क्षमताओं का विकास करना है ताकि वह रोजमर्रा की जिंदगी की मांगों और चुनौतियों का सामना करने में सक्षम हो सके। कार्यक्षेत्र में सफलता के लिए ये क्षमताएं बेहद जरूरी हैं। उन्होंने आगे विस्तार से बताया कि हर छात्र अनोखा है. उसके पास अद्वितीय व्यक्तित्व लक्षण, रुचियां, प्राथमिकताएं, मूल्य, दृष्टिकोण, ताकत और कमजोरियां हैं। उन्होंने अद्वैत वेदांत में पांच कोषों (पंच कोष) के ज्ञान के बारे में चर्चा की, जो व्यक्तित्व की भ्रामक प्रकृति को प्रदर्शित करता है। उन्होंने बताया इसे प्राप्त करने के लिए छात्रों का समग्र विकास अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है।

डॉ. कुमार ने कहा कि महर्षि दयानंद सरस्वती को न केवल आर्य समाज के संस्थापक के रूप में बल्कि एक समाज सुधारक और राष्ट्र-निर्माता के रूप में उनकी व्यापक भूमिका के लिए याद किया जाना चाहिए। वर्तमान पीढ़ी को उनके जीवन से प्रेरणा लेने के लिए उनके त्याग, तपस्या और कठिन परिश्रम की भावना से परिचित होने की आवश्यकता है।

छात्रों ने समग्र शिक्षा और आज के समय में इसके महत्व का एक वर्णनात्मक विचार प्राप्त किया। व्याख्यान विभाग के अध्यक्ष डॉ. पवन सिंह के नेतृत्व में आयोजित किया गया। अध्यक्ष ने संकाय सदस्य द्वारा किए गए प्रयास को बधाई दी और सराहना की और भविष्य में छात्रों के लिए और अधिक व्यावहारिक व्याख्यान आयोजित करने का वादा किया। व्याख्यान का संचालन विभाग के सहायक प्राध्यापक डॉ. भारत धीमान ने किया।

Expert Lecture on the occasion of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati Jayanti 

Faridabad, 5 March – The Department of Communication & Media Technology of J.C. Bose University of Science & Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, Haryana, has organized an expert lecture on “Understanding Holistic Development for Students” for media students on the occasion of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati Jayanti on 5th March 2024. The resource person for the Lecture was Dr. Parveen Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Management Studies, J.C. Bose University, YMCA, Faridabad. The Lecture commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Pawan Singh, Chairperson of the department. 

During this session, Dr. Kumar said that Holistic development essentially means the development of intellectual, mental, physical, emotional, and social abilities in a child so that they are capable of facing the demands and challenges of everyday life. These abilities are vitally important for success in professional fields of work. He said every child is unique. He or she has unique personality traits, interests, preferences, values, attitudes, strengths, and weaknesses. He discussed about the wisdom of the five sheaths (Pancha Kosha) in Advaita Vedanta demonstrates the illusory nature of individuality. In order to achieve this, the holistic development of a child is of utmost importance.

He further elaborated that Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati should be remembered not merely as a founder of Arya Samaj but for his massive role as a social reformer and nation-builder. The present generation needs to be acquainted with his spirit of sacrifice, asceticism, and hard labor to seek inspiration from his life.

Students acquired a descriptive idea of Holistic education and its importance in today’s time. The Lecture was conducted under Dr. Pawan Singh, Chairperson of the department. The chairperson congratulated and appreciated the effort made by the faculty member and promised to organize a more practical exposure lecture for students in the future. Dr. Bharat Dhiman, Assistant Professor of the department, coordinated the Lecture.
