कुलपति ने सुरक्षा कर्मियों, एनसीसी कैडेट्स तथा एनएसएस स्वयंसेवकों द्वारा प्रस्तुत मार्च पास्ट की सलामी भी ली। इसके उपरांत विद्यार्थियों द्वारा सांस्कृतिक प्रस्तुति दी गई, जिसे सभी के द्वारा खूब सराहा गया। समारोह में कुलपति प्रो. तोमर के साथ उनकी धर्मपत्नी श्रीमती स्वीटी तोमर भी मौजूद रही। वाईएमसीए माॅब - एलुमनाई एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष श्री सुखदेव सिंह और विश्व प्रकाश मिशन के चेयरमैन श्री राकेश सेठी कार्यक्रम के दौरान सम्मानित अतिथि रहे।
समारोह में विभिन्न क्लबों के विद्यार्थियों ने देशभक्ति की भावना से ओतप्रोत सांस्कृतिक गीत-संगीत, नृत्य तथा योग की प्रस्तुति दी। कार्यक्रम में भागीदारी के लिए विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा गोद लिए गांवों गवर्नमेंट मिडिल स्कूल, राजपुर कलां और सहरावक से स्कूली छात्रों को विशेष रूप से आमंत्रित किया गया था, जिन्होंने शानदार प्रस्तुतियां दी।
अपने संबोधन में कुलपति प्रो. तोमर ने गणतंत्र दिवस पर सभी को शुभकामनाएं दी। गणतंत्र दिवस के महत्व पर प्रकाश डालते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि युवाओं को महान स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों महात्मा गांधी, सरदार पटेल और डॉ अम्बेडकर जैसे महापुरूषों के जीवन से प्रेरणा लेनी चाहिए तथा देश की एकता और अखण्डता को कायम रखने का संकल्प लेेना चाहिए। उन्होंने आह्वान किया कि युवा वर्ग राष्ट्र निर्माण में अपनी अहम भूमिका सुनिश्चित करें।
इस अवसर पर कुलपति ने भारतीय संविधान में मौलिक अधिकारों के समान ही मौलिक कर्तव्यों महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला। उन्होंने आह्वान किया कि संवैधानिक मूल्यों को बनाए रखने के लिए सभी को अपने मौलिक कर्तव्यों के प्रति भी जागरूक होना होगा। उन्होंने विश्वविद्यालय की विभिन्न अकादमिक एवं ढांचागत विकास परियोजनाओं की जानकारी दी तथा नई योजनाओं से अवगत करवाया। उन्होंने सभी को विश्वविद्यालय की प्रगति में योगदान देने का आह्वान किया। समारोह का समापन राष्ट्रगान से हुआ।
कार्यक्रम के अंत में कुलपति एवं अतिथियों ने छात्रों को कार्यक्रम के दौरान उनके प्रदर्शन के लिए सम्मानित किया। कार्यक्रम का आयोजन अधिष्ठाता, विद्यार्थी कल्याण प्रो. मनीष वशिष्ठ निदेशक, युवा कल्याण डॉ प्रदीप कुमार, डिप्टी डीन डॉ. सोनिया बंसल, डाॅ. शिल्पा सेठी और डाॅ. हरीश कुमार की देखरेख में किया गया। समारोह में सभी संकायाध्यक्ष, विभागाध्यक्ष, विश्वविद्यालय के अधिकारी, कर्मचारी तथा काफी संख्या में विद्यार्थी सम्मिलित हुए। कार्यक्रम के समापन अवसर पर सभी विद्यार्थियों और कर्मचारियों में मिठाईयां बांटी गई।

JC Bose University celebrated 75th Republic Day with patriotic fervour
Faridabad, January 26: The J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad celebrated the 75th Republic Day with patriotic fervour and gaiety. The Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Sushil Kumar Tomar unfurled the Tri-colour in the University premises.
The Vice-Chancellor also took the salute at an impressive march-past presented by the Security Officials, NCC Cadets, and NSS volunteers of the University and addressed the gathering. Earlier, Prof. Tomar paid tributes to the martyrs at the War Heroes Gallery in the University. Prof. Tomar was accompanied by his wife Mrs. Sweety Tomar. President of YMCA MOB, the Alumni Association Sh Sukhdev Singh and Chairman of Vishwa Prakash Mission, Sh. Rakesh Sethi were guest of honour during the program.
To keep alive the flame of patriotism, a bouquet of cultural programs was also presented by the students of different clubs. Students showcased their talents through poignant songs, soul-stirring poems, and captivating dance routines, paying tribute to the legacy of our nation. The students from Government Middle School of Rajpur Kalan and Sehrawak were also invited to participate in the program and their performances in the function were appreciated by all.
In his Republic Day address, Prof. Tomar congratulated the staff and students on the occasion of Republic Day. Highlighting the importance of the day, Prof. Tomar recalled the contributions of the national leaders in the early post-independence contributions like Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, and Dr. B. R. Ambedhkar, who worked extensively in framing the Constitution of India. He said that each one of us needs to participate in the attainment of the goals laid down by the constitution. He urged the students to follow the path kindled by the great leaders of the nation.
The Vice-Chancellor also highlighted the equal importance given to fundamental duties along-with fundamental rights in the Indian Constitution. He urged everyone to be aware of their fundamental duties, emphasizing the crucial role it plays in upholding constitutional values. He also mentioned the recent achievements of the University apprised the about various infrastructural development plans executed in the University campus and made a fervent appeal to contribute towards the progress of the University.
At the end of the program, the Vice-Chancellor and guest felicitated the students for their performance during the program. The program was organized under the overall supervision of Dean, of Students Welfare Prof. Munish Vashishth and coordinated by Director, Youth Welfare Dr. Pradeep Kumar, Deputy Deans Dr. Sonia Bansal, Dr. Shilpa Sethi, and Dr. Harish Kumar. The ceremony was well attended by all Deans, HoDs, officers of the University, faculty members, supporting staff, and students. The function culminated with the distribution of sweets among all the students and staff members.
