इस अवसर पर ग्णित विभाग की अध्यक्ष प्रो. नीतू गुप्ता ने कुलपति प्रो. तोमर का स्वागत किया और पिछले दो वर्षों में विभाग की उपलब्धियों और आयोजित कार्यक्रमों पर संक्षित रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत की। उन्होंने यूजीसी/नेट, जैम, गेट जैसी प्रतियोगी परीक्षाओं में छात्रों के उल्लेखनीय प्रदर्शन तथा प्लेसमेंट रिकॉर्ड पर प्रकाश डाला। इस मौके पर कुलपति ने आगामी शैक्षणिक सत्र 2024-25 के दृष्टिगत तैयारएडमिशन फ्लायर का विमोचन भी किया।
अपने संबोधन में कुलपति तोमर ने न्यूजलेटर निकालने में सहयोग देने वाले संकाय सदस्यों के समर्पण की प्रशंसा की और विभाग की उल्लेखनीय उपलब्धियों सराहा। उन्होंने संकाय सदस्यों को भविष्य में भी इसी तरह के प्रयासों में अपनी प्रतिबद्धता और उत्साह बनाए रखने के लिए प्रेरित किया। कार्यक्रम का समापन करते हुए प्रो. नीतू गुप्ता ने कुलपति का आभार व्यक्त किया।

Vice-Chancellor release the Newsletter of Mathematics Department
Faridabad, April 22 - The Department of Mathematics at J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, today released the second edition of its insightful Departmental Newsletter, 'Infinity for Thought'. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sushil Kumar Tomar, unveiled this publication during a program held in the University Board Room.
Prof. Neetu Gupta, Chairperson of the Department, welcomed the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Tomar and provided a comprehensive overview of the department's accomplishments and notable events over the past two years. She highlighted the exceptional performances of students in competitive exams such as UGC/NET, JAM, GATE, alongside showcasing their impressive placement records. Also, an Admission Flyer tailored for the upcoming admission session in 2024-25 was also launched by the Vice-Chancellor.
In his address, Vice-Chancellor Tomar commended the faculty members for their dedication in curating the Newsletter and lauded the Department's remarkable achievements. He motivated them to continue their commitment and enthusiasm in all future endeavors.
